Be careful not to get too granular with your tasks. You don't want your cleaners to become overwhelmed with items to check. They may begin to check items without doing them if the process becomes too time-consuming.
Health check
The checklists feature can be used to confirm your cleaners are symptom-free during the pandemic. This is likely something that will need to be done at each location, so setting up a template makes sense.
We recommend creating a health check template and adding a detailed description to the template the outlines your expectations, such as “Before entering the location please complete the following health check confirming that you do not currently have any symptoms.”
You can then add items such as:
Do you currently have any symptoms? Such as fever, cough, etc.
Have you been in contact with anyone confirmed positive for Covid-19 in the last 14 days?
Have you travelled in the last 14 days?
Make sure you wear a mask!
or any other items required by your government officials.
Location or cleaner on-boarding
A checklist is a great way to introduce new cleaners to a location. You can create a checklist that outlines the steps to take the first time they clean a location. There may be some tasks that will be helpful to get them started.
These may be items like:
Locate the supply closet on the 4th floor and collect your supplies
The location of the office keys can be found in the security info section of Swept
The office managers name is Karen, please introduce your self to her
