Details
Did you have an urgent cleaning that needed to be done asap, without time to add the shift to the schedule? No problem! If you need to add or update a shift that has passed the current time, you can do this in the Historical Shift details. Once you add your shift, you can link the time entry for the cleaning through the time entry details page.
If a user has logged in to a shift or the shift has passed the end time, the shift can no longer be edited through the schedule list as an ‘upcoming shift’. The shift becomes a ‘historical shift’ that can be updated through the Historical Shift Report.
Through the schedule list, you are able to see what shifts were originally scheduled and through the historical shift report, you are able to make any necessary changes to adjust your schedule times within your reports.
Who can make historical shift updates?
Managers and supervisors with access to Scheduling are able to adjust historical shifts.
