One of the many informative widgets on the locations details page. The instructions & security info widget provide cleaners with the information they need to clean a location.

Instructions can be used to onboard new cleaners to a location, leave notes on areas that need special attention, or any other information you feel is important to clean the location. For ease of use, the instructions are automatically translated into the user's device language.

The security info section provides an extra layer of protection by requiring an additional PIN entry for sensitive information like security codes or instructions on where keys are located.

Who can see the instructions & security info widget?

The instructions & security info widget is shown to managers, supervisors, and cleaners who have been approved to the location.

Where can I find the instructions & security info widget?

The instructions & security info widget is found on the location details page. The locations details page can be accessed by selecting Locations from the navigation bar and selecting a particular location. You may need to scroll down to see the instructions & security info widget.

When should I use the instructions & security info widget?

Users should use the instructions & security info widget when they need to know if there are any special instructions or security information they need to know to access or clean the location.

Instructions & Security Info Widget Details

When you are looking at the details of a location you will see the instructions & security info widget. Depending on the location and what instructions have been added the widget will appear in one of two states.

• No instructions - The widget will be shown in this state if the location does not have any instructions assigned to it. Instructions can be added to a location using the Swept web app.

• Read instructions - The widget will be shown in this state if instructions have been added to the location using the Swept web app.

Viewing instructions

Users can view the instructions by selecting the Read Instructions button in the bottom right-hand corner of the widget. The instructions will be displayed as they were entered into the web app including tables and images.

The instructions will be automatically shown in the language of your device regardless of what language they were originally written in. If they were originally written in a different language a translate icon will be shown in the upper right-hand corner of the instructions screen. Selecting this icon will show the instructions in the language they were originally written in.

Viewing security info

Users can view the security info by selecting the Security info button in the upper right-hand corner of the widget. The security info will be displayed as they were entered into the web app including and tables and images.

The user must enter their PIN to access the security information. Upon selecting the Security info button they will be presented with a PIN entry screen. If the user correctly enters their 4 digit PIN the security information will be displayed. In the event that a user entered the incorrect PIN, the PIN entry page will be reset and the security information will not be shown.
