Keeping track of the important things that need to be done at each of your locations has never been easier. Checklists let Cleaners know what tasks need to be completed each shift and enable Managers to track completed and incomplete tasks to keep a finger on the pulse of the business, wherever they are.

The Checklists feature provides a complete task tracking solution including custom checklists for each location. Have your team complete them as part of onsite shifts, and measure the results. The checklists feature within the Swept+ mobile app allows users to view and complete checklists as they clean locations.

Who can see checklists?

Managers, supervisors, and cleaners can all view checklists within the Swept+ mobile app, but checklists can only be completed by a user that is logged into a location.

If you cannot see the checklists widget your company may not have access to the feature. If you would like to use checklists for your company please reach out to your Swept account manager.

Where can I find checklists?

The checklists widget is found within the locations section of the Swept+ mobile app. To access checklists select Locations from the navigation bar, then select a location, and scroll down until you see the checklists widget.

When should I use checklists?

Checklists should be used by cleaners and supervisors when they are cleaning a location to ensure they are completing all of the tasks that need to be done as part of their shift.


Details

The behaviour of the checklists feature in Swept+ is different depending on whether the user is completing a cleaning shift or not. If the user is not logged into a location they will still be able to view the checklists available at a location so that they can see the tasks that need to be completed.

If the location does not have any checklists the view all button will be removed from the checklists widget. Please reach out to your manager if you think that having a checklist to clean the location would be helpful.

In order to complete a checklist, the user must be logged into the location. Once the user is logged in the ability to complete checklists will be unlocked.

Completing a checklist

Once you are logged into a location and have selected a checklist to complete you will see the checklist details. The checklist will have tasks split into different areas, as you complete each task simply check it off the list.

Once you start a checklist you will be unable to navigate away from the page without losing your progress.

When you have completed all the tasks on the list you can add a note to the checklist letting your manager know anything that came up during the completion of the tasks. To complete the checklist press Complete Checklist. You will be shown a summary of the items that you checked, if you are happy with this select Yes. If you would like to make changes to the checklist before submitting select Cancel. This will allow you to go back and edit the checklist before sending it. Completing a checklist will generate a results report that can be viewed in the Swept web application.

You can complete multiple checklists as part of each shift! Before you sign out just select another checklist and follow the steps above to complete another checklist.
